Visit from Germany in Park Central

Last Tuesday, September 6, the exchange with Forum Digitale Technologien Deutschland took place at Innovation Park. Startups and people working on research projects from our neighboring country visited us to present their innovative ideas and exchange ideas with each other. The participants from Germany were joined by members of the Switzerland Innovation Park, who were also able to present their companies.

At the beginning of the meeting, the participants were given a guided tour of the Suurstoffi site by Zug Estates. They also visited what is currently Switzerland's tallest wooden building - the Suurstoffi 22 office building. The building's basement houses the autonomous heating and cooling supply system, which provides the entire Suurstoffi site with heating and cooling. Afterwards, the guests went to the ARENA, the event space of the Innovation Park, and pitched the ideas of their startups or research projects to each other.

With them were the smartconext AG with Founder and CEO Dominik Mahn, Specter Automation with Co-Founder and CEO Oliver Eischet, SDaC with Research Associate Philipp Zielke, ForeSight with Principal Researcher Michael Schidlack, BIMKIT with CEO Andreas Bach and machine learning engineer Heinrich Fröml, the VDI/VDE Innovation + Technik GmbH with Senior Consultant Matthias Bürger, the Building Information Technology AG with co-founder and Head of BIT Matthias Liechti, the HEGIAS AG with CEO and Founder Patrik Marty, Sales Manager Véronique Gasc and Nadia Schwegler, the Core IT GmbH with Co-Founder Grischa Aranda Muñoz and software developer and entrepreneur Peter Bircher, the comstruct ICT GmbH with Sales Raphael Zurfluh and last but not least the Digital Technologies Forum with Matthias Gutschmidt.

At the end of the event, in addition to a cool after-work beer, the participants were able to try out HEGIAS AG's virtual reality goggles and experience for themselves what visualization and communication with VR feels like for the construction and real estate industry.

It was a pleasure to host this exchange and offer so many innovative startups and research projects the opportunity to present their projects and exchange ideas with each other.
